| Today I am officially resigning as Worship Leader for the contemporary service at Trinity Bible Church. I am assuming this wont be coming as a shocker to those who regularly read my posts and/or talk to me.
I can't continue on like this and the church is doing nothing but draining my spiritually and I have to watch my own spiritual health before I try to help others.
I have not made a final decision as to whether or not I will leave the church completely but at this time that is what it looks like I will be doing.

| My heart goes out to the friends and families of the victims at VT. My prayers are with them, this is truly a tragedy. |

| Well the three days of intense training are now over, and I am as sore as one can be (not to mention tired). I was among a group that passed without question at the top of the class today and got released early which I did not mind one bit. The rest of the group aside from the 10 of us released early had to stay and retake the test.
There were a lot of people in the class that just didn't take it seriously and goofed off the whole time, those students were told to go home they didn't make the cut. It really annoyed me because we are talking about saving people's lives and all they wanted to do is joke around, I guess I appreciate it more from seeing major accidents on the river.
I get a couple of weeks off though but I need to stay in the pool to stay in shape and keep my skills up, so I will be at the YMCA most every day working on that. My orientation at Carowinds is on the 28th.

| Well tomorrow I officially start training at Carowinds. I'm pretty excited about it, but I'm not excited about how my weekend is completely shot due to the training:
Fri: 6pm-9pm Sat: 9am-9pm Sun: 9am-5pm
Yeah that pretty much means no free time. Oh well guess ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
